Ever Lasting

Most of our time is spent doing things that are never fully done.

Day after day we perform the routine. Tomorrow just as today, apparently beginning again every day. Since this routine consumes such a large portion of our time, shouldn’t we consider how best we might build upon our efforts from day to day? Why commit ourselves so fully to activities that do not last?

It is noble to awaken each day surrendered to the goal of building those things that last. There are temporal benefits but we want the chief focus of our actions to be the pursuit of the far surpassing and eternal gain.
