Don’t Grow Weary

Let’s not become discouraged in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not become weary. Galatians 6:9 (NASB)

Why are we so tired?

Galations 6:9 is intended to offer encouragement. Yes, times will be tough, perhaps grow bad and worse, harder and more difficult. But when I think of the times I felt the most energized it wasn’t when everything was easy sailing.

Often we find renewed energy and attentiveness when we are hardest at work. So if you’re weary, ask why. Let’s not be too quick to blame our fatigue on all our “do-gooding,” it could be we’re not doing good enough!
