Bill Schlegel’s presentation during the 2021 UCA Conference, entitled “Finding Evidence for the Deity of Christ in the Old Testament is Not a New Testament Exercise”.

Many Trinitarians look to find proof texts within the Old Testament to support the claim that Jesus is God. Bill Schlegel demonstrates that this was NOT an activity the New Testament authors engaged in, and furthermore, enumerates what the NT authors DID reference the OT to establish, namely Jesus as the promised Christ.
